Just started riding a few months ago, bought a used 96 savage. previous owner did something to muffler, friends told me sounded like a old air cooled v.w. bug. i found this site, think it's great. well anyway decided to try the harley muffler as budget didn't allow other options. question is should i punch a hole through center baffle? and if so how should I do it? also the only backfiring I currently expierience is when I shut the bike off, do you think that means white spacer might already be removed?
